The following slides form the Davis proposal, upon which a public consultation has been held, although that does not mean that the final scheme will be exactly the same as this. Other possible uses would be considered if they meet the overall objectives of the scheme.

The proposal divides the area into 3 zones. Zone 1 nearest the station would contain a multi-storey car park, largely for rail users, a pub / hotel, a convenience store, a bus / taxi interchange for the station and a residential block.
Zones 2 and 3 would be largely residential.

The housing development proposed in Zones 2 and 3 comprises 2-bedroom apartments and 3-bedroom houses plus a residential block in Zone 1.

Station improvements and commercial development
Apart from major improvements to the rail interchange with other transport (buses, taxis, cycle storage, car parking), this area includes proposals for a pub / hotel, a convenience store and a multi-storey car park, although other ideas could be considered.
